PETAN GRACES COMMISIONING OF FIRST MODULAR REFINERY IN NIGERIA

Chairman of the Petroleum Technology Association of Nigeria (PETAN), Mr. Nicolas Odinuwe, was in company of the Honourable Minister of State for Petroleum, His Excellency, Timipre Sylva and the Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Content Development Board (NCDMB), Engr. Simbi Wabote and other oil and gas industry players at the official commissioning of the first modular refinery in Nigeria.

The historic event held on Tuesday, 24th November, 2020 at Ibigwe, Imo state.

The refinery, which has the capacity to produce 5000 bpd has been described as a landmark achievement by industry players as is the Abuja-Kaduna-Kano (AKK) gas pipeline project being undertaken by the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari.
